Mycobacterium hippocampi is an acid-fast opportunistic pathogen associated with infections in aquatic animals. Here, we report the draft genome sequence of M. hippocampi strain DL, an isolate from cultured European sea bass (Dicentrarchus labrax) associated with systemic symptomatology.
